Eligibility Criteria

  • All applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents

  • Group applications may include up to three names, with one person nominated as the primary contact

  • Each applicant may apply only once per year.

JCAF Terms and Conditions

By submitting this application, you agree to be bound by the Jesse Cox Audio Fellowship (JCAF) Terms and Conditions set out below.

JCAF may use your name, image, extracts from your application to announce the successful Fellow winner and/or shortlisted applicants entrants of and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes. JCAF will contact shortlisted applicants before they are announced.

You agree that any personal information provided by you with the competition entry may be held and used only by JCAF or its agents and suppliers to administer the Fellowship.

By submitting your application to JCAF you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. JCAF reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants through whatever method may be appropriate in the circumstances.

Applications received after the closing date will not be accepted.

By applying for the Fellowship, you agree that, in the event that you are selected as the Fellow, you will create a mutually agreeable plan for your fellowship term, which will include production of a piece of audio content (the Fellowship Content), and that you will grant the Jesse Cox Audio Fellowship a royalty-free, irrevocable right and licence to use, copy, reproduce, reformat, display, perform, broadcast and distribute the Fellowship Content throughout the world, in any manner or medium, for the purposes of promoting the Fellowship and the Fellow.

You acknowledge that JCAF may reproduce, broadcast and communicate materials submitted for the purpose of promoting the Fellowship.

The full rights, terms and conditions which apply to the Fellow will be set out in a separate Agreement entered into by the Fellow and JCAF following the Fellow’s selection.

The judges’ decision will be final.  

These terms and conditions shall be governed by Australian law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and Australia.
